Sound Systems

Commercial audio, distributed audio, speaker installation, zone control, and conference room audio, designed so every seat in the space hears the same thing and the staff can actually run it without calling support.

What's included

The pieces of a system done right.

Commercial audio

Restaurants, retail, gyms, and salons, built for long hours and easy day-to-day operation.

Distributed audio

Even coverage across multiple rooms or outdoor zones, no hot spots or dead corners.

Speaker installation

In-ceiling, in-wall, surface, or pendant, with placement and aiming that match the architecture.

Zone control

Independent volume and source per area, controllable from a phone, wall keypad, or staff tablet.

Conference room audio

Mics, DSP, and speakers tuned so far-end participants hear the room clearly, not the HVAC.

Multi-zone properties

Hotels, clubs, and event venues with bars, dining rooms, and patios all needing their own feel.

Outdoor entertaining

Patio, pool, and deck coverage with weather-resistant audio that stays even at low volumes.

Bad existing system

Outdoor sound system installation in Shrewsbury, MA by J&S Audio Video Solutions
Real-world example

A patio that sounds great at conversation volume.

A Shrewsbury home with a wraparound deck wanted music outside without the neighbors filing a complaint. We placed eight low-profile landscape speakers along the perimeter, ran a dedicated outdoor amp on a separate zone, and gave the homeowners a single tap on their phone to bring it up. Even coverage, low SPL, and no boom. Exactly what they asked for.

Frequently asked

Questions we hear most.

Can you fix a system another company installed?
Yes. Tuning, re-zoning, and replacing problem components is some of the most common work we do. We'll walk through what's salvageable and what isn't, with no pressure to rip everything out.
Do you handle multi-zone control from a phone?
Yes. Most modern systems we install include a phone or tablet app for staff or homeowners, typically with simple presets so day-to-day use is one tap.
Will an in-ceiling speaker sound thin?
Not when it's the right speaker, in the right spot, with the right amplifier. Cheap in-ceiling drivers earned the bad reputation. We don't use them.
Can you supply the equipment without installing it?
Yes. We are an audio visual equipment supplier as well as an installer. If you have a trusted crew already, we can spec and supply the gear and stay on call for technical support.
How loud can a commercial system get without distortion?
More than you need, with the right design. The trick is matching amplifier headroom to driver sensitivity so the system never has to strain. That's where good design beats more wattage.
